Women working on construction sites and in other similar activities either take their children with them or leave them with older children. In order that these children are better cared for and protected from malnutrition, Crèche has been established in Dapodi, Pune for 30 childrens. These crèche also doubles as child nutrition center, where malnourished children receive therapeutic feeding. It is recognized by the central social welfare board-Bombay.
