Medical Project

Even though the government provides many free facilities such as vaccination and family planning, these are not made often use of because they are far from localities. These activities are co-ordinated from the Community Center at Dapodi and Pimpri in Pune. The community center houses Medical unit which services the locality health programmes in Dapodi, Mundhava and Pimpri.  

     

Trust is conducting following activities.

• Immunization

• Family planning: Local health workers identify those eligible for family planning, as a local person is in the best position to communicate the importance of child spacing to the women.

• Free Medicine distribution

• Check-up of pregnant women: Receive Iron supplement and regular doses of deforming medicine.

• O.P.D.: - in Dapodi and Pimpri, at least 5000 patients are benefited every year.
