The Bahujan Hitay Girls Hostel Vishrantwadi was established in 1987. The project aimed to serve girls of 5th to 10th standard belonging to marginalised and disadvantage communities from the Pune district. And its surrounding districts. These girls aged between 10 to 17 and are victimised by the patriarchal practices at their homes and community. Which affected deeply their body and mind. The hostel is the great source for many of them to overcoming the adverse condition they are facing. Since last 30 years the hostel has been providing facilities for residence, education, health and overall development to over 2300 students. Many successful students serving government through government Jobs, become Doctors and Engineers and had join private sector Jobs. The hostel is registered with and managed by Trailokya Baudha Mahasangha Sahayak Gan (TBMSG) trust Pune.
